Just being curious and wanting to learn something new and potentially useful is the best reason you can have. Of course, you don’t actually need a good reason to install macOS Monterey on an external drive. □ Backup system: It’s essential to back up all important files so that you can recover them in the event of a data loss incident, but you may also want to consider setting up a backup operating system on your external drive so that you can minimize downtime as much as possible.□□ Separating your work life from your personal life: By having two operating systems, you can elegantly separate your work life from your personal life to avoid embarrassing issues with mixed-up email attachments and other similarly unpleasant problems.□ Testing: It’s always a good idea to test if a new version of macOS is compatible with all apps you rely on, and you can do just that by installing macOS on an external SSD or HDD.Here are some situations where this approach can be especially useful: When you install macOS on an external hard drive, you can get your hands on the latest and greatest features without the risk of making your computer unusable. At the same time, new versions of macOS always introduce attractive new features, and it’s understandable if you want to try them as soon as possible. It’s not uncommon for users to see their Macs become less stable than a hormonal teenager going through a caffeine crash. Seasoned Apple users know that when a new major version of macOS is released, things do always go smoothly. When It Makes Sense to Install macOS Monterey on an External Hard Drive If you discover that Monterey is too unstable, incompatible, or otherwise unsatisfactory, you can simply format the external hard drive and use it for other purposes, such as storing backups. By learning how to install macOS on an external hard drive, you can safely test everything macOS 12 Monterey has to offer while preserving your current installation intact. The last two drum tracks must be set to Bass01 and remain unused, otherwise they will cause the mod using them to crash. They must be set in this particular order, or the ORG may not sound the same in the mod as it does in the program. These are the only acceptable drums that can be used for a Cave Story mod. Despite the new drum samples, the waveform samples remain unchanged throughout each ORG Maker version and are all compatible in an unhacked Cave Story mod. I also added some Ikachans around U+2020, 2039, 203A.Have fun CC-BY-SA. ORG Maker 2 comes with additional drum samples that Cave Story and ORG Maker v1 do not have. Cave Story: Pixel font copied from Cave Story+. Shortens the length of a notetail (cursor must be positioned over the notehead)Įxtends the length of a notetail (cursor must be positioned over the notehead) The notehead can also be right clicked to reduce its tail, or remove the note entirely if only the head remains. Clicking on this note head extends the length of the note, creating a "tail". Notes are inserted by clicking within the grid, creating a notehead. If your guitar has no markings, it is most likely not going to sell for any significant sum. It is true that some decal logos are removed, but again, owners of better guitars tend not to let this happen, whilst cheaper copies are often anonymised in the hope that they might be mistaken for something that they are not. Entirely unmarked guitars are rare, and as a general rule, better manufacturers were proud of their work, and will have applied their logos prominently. Most guitars have this somewhere on the headstock, on a label, in a soundhole, or on a scratchplate or pickup. Some will never have been shown in a catalogue, and getting detailed information may be quite difficult. A handful of factories produced a huge number of guitars, often quite similar, but with the retailers branding rather than the manufacturer. Accurate information is harder to come by for Japanese guitars. So how do you know what you've got? There is a lot of information about the major American and European vintage guitars online, in fact that is the main focus of this site, and there are also some excellent books on guitar identification ( Gruhn's Guide is about the best), and very many helpful collectors hanging out on guitar forums and social media groups. If you already know what your guitar is, jump to step 2: Finding out what your guitar is worth Step 2: Finding out what your guitar is worth This article is aimed at all those individuals who want to sell a vintage guitar, but don't really know where to start. If you don't, you run the risk of deterring buyers and ending up either getting less than your guitar is worth, or failing to sell at all. There are a number of things that you can do to help your vintage guitar sell quickly, whilst maximising the sale price. But most guitars are suitable for selling online, and you can easily get a fair price, as long as you follow a few basic steps: correct guitar identification, correct valuation, and effective description. Likewise if your guitar is basically junk, you might find selling it at a local table or car boot sale is most effective. If you have anything exceptionally rare, you are best off selling on consignment through a respected vintage guitar dealer, rather than privately online. There is most likely a player or collector out there who would love to pay you for your guitar. Perhaps ok for decorating a bar wall, but that's about it. Some are nothing short of a hindrance to play basically firewood with strings. Vintage guitars come in all shapes and sizes some are incredibly rare, highly prized by guitar players and very expensive to buy. There is nothing ilegal about this so dont worry.
